About Us

IIFSSR is a registered voluntary non-govt. Organisation under societies registration act XXI of 1860 having registration no. 24/96 it has been certified to accept resources for programmes under section 12 A and 80 G of Income tax Act 1962.IIFSSR is the outcome of a vision of few likeminded individuals with several years of experience in the social sector to use their experience to make an impact in the lives of the deprived and marginalised section of our society. 

IIFSSR has nine members governing board. The president is the executive head of the organisation. IIFSSR is presently providing its services in Himachal Pradesh.

The IIFSSR was established in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) in 1988 as a non-profit, development services organisation. Since its inception, IIFSSR has successfully engaged in many more projects of development.  IIFSSR works with its own resources and with aid from govt. Agencies as well as from other individuals.  IIFSSR provides its services in a variety of areas:
